“Our mission is to transform our farm into a model of regenerative agriculture by employing permaculture, agroforestry, and rewilding principles. Through sustainable practices and ecosystem restoration, we aim to create a harmonious and resilient environment that fosters biodiversity, nurtures the land, and provides for future generations.”

How will we achieve this lofty goal? Failing to plan is planning to fail so the key to keeping on track with our mission is having goals that we constantly refer to. This will keep us on track.

Our goals

  1. Implement permaculture design to optimise resource use and increase food production efficiency.
  2. Use the principles and practices of regenerative agriculture to create a balanced ecosystem.
  3. Focus on biodiversity as a key to regenerative agriculture and encourage a nutrient dense soil.
  4. Create a diverse and productive agroforestry system with native and beneficial species.
  5. Restore degraded habitats on the farm, promoting native plant and animal species.
  6. Create areas where the land can grow wild with only natural inputs such as compost to facilitate rewilding.
  7. Reduce the use of synthetic inputs and chemicals in farming operations.
  8. Develop a holistic waste management system, recycling and reusing organic materials.
  9. Enhance soil health and fertility through regenerative agricultural methods.
  10. Conserve water resources through efficient irrigation and rainwater harvesting.
  11. Continuously monitor and assess our ecological impact, striving for ongoing improvement.
